Circles of Life

Educational community initiative for the progression of modern science and scholarship in general.

Circles of Life is an educational community initiative of the Bhakti Vedanta Institute of Spiritual Culture and Science. The BVISCS’s mission is to scientifically establish that life and matter originate from life. In order to execute this mission, we advocate the harmony of science, philosophy, and religion, as well as considering the role of consciousness in modern science. Continuing productive dialogue concerning these topics is paramount for the positive progression of modern science and scholarship in general.

The Circles of Life educational community initiative coordinates groups at the local level, within universities and among global communities, to engage in such productive dialogue. Please contact us for information on how to get involved.

“All religions, arts, and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man’s life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom.”

The Stockton Science of Life Club is a university recognized student organization and has been highlighted in the Argo.

The purpose of this student organization shall be to consider, promote, and contribute to the synthesis of the sciences and humanities, with a focus on the role that life plays within these diverse fields of study. This includes consideration of the emerging multidisciplinary field of consciousness studies. Various engaging educational activities will be organized in line with this purpose.

With specific focus on the dynamic between the natural sciences, philosophy, and religion, we will actively discuss and consider the modern reductionist and strictly material approach (abiogenesis) to perceiving and studying the world and reality, along with a more holistic approach which is inclusive of consciousness and the fundamental role of life (biogenesis).
